About

I’m Pete. This is a place for things I find interesting, and the occasional regurgitation thereof. In more webbish terms, it’s somewhere between a blog, a tumblelog, a del.icio.us account, and a twitter account.

I’m into information architecture, especially in the brain and in computers; although any big or otherwise different thinking will strike my fancy. I think brains and computers can work very well together, and that the reason the web exploded is because it acknowledges interwingularity and emulates the brain. I think it still needs work.

I write lots of code, right now in PHP, SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Python.

I read Seed, ReadWriteWeb, and other stuff I find, and watch TED talks. I use Safari and TextMate.

I’m an atheist. I love Calvin and Hobbes, Monty Python, Frank Sinatra, and the Beatles. I admire Tim Berners-Lee, Ted Nelson, Richard Dawkins, and a lot of other people. I dislike human nature.
